Cookies and spice

So, our beloved Cookie-Nut has reached the 6-month mark! That warrants a birthday post, I think. In the last six months, Cookie-Nut has learned to:

--talk to herself, especially lying next to me in bed in the morning (one of my favorite times of day)

--roll over both ways

--lift herself up on her arms

--alllllmost sit by herself

--charm everyone with her smiles

--belly laugh

--kick her brother in the face (he loves it)

--be nearly smothered by her brother's affection (she loves it)

--chew on her thumbs

--chew on her toes

--thouroughly examine both sides of each hand

--pass an object from one hand to the other (disputed)

--press the end of her thumb onto a surface and rotate her hand around it (a quirky little habit)

--jump in her jumper or on a willing lap

--breastfeed and drink from a bottle too

--eat squishy stuff from a spoon

AND last but not least: Sleep all night! (just kidding...sigh)
