Bedtime with Dangerboy
"Heavenly Father, thank you for this day. Please bless Cookie-Nut, and that she'll be nice to everybody, and that she'll get big like me. And that she'll not eat chalk. Name of Jesus Christ, amen."
(Cookie-Nut finds it hard to abstain from sidewalk chalk, that gritty goodness.)
"Mom, why our house is square?"
"Well, there are other houses on top of ours, right? So they need to stack, like blocks. If it was round, would it stack? Can balls stack?"
"No. But maybe if the balls were flat?"
"But if they were flat, would they be balls anymore?"
"No. They'd be frisbees. And then if we cut the frisbees, they'd be cookies!"

I love the big brother in him, you know? His whole prayer is on behalf of his little Cookie-Nut sister. Too sweet! Everything he says enchants me to him all the more!
