OK, so we didn't do anything human-rightsy for MLK day. We did something artsy though...went to the
Getty Villa with some
friends. It was quite a lovely place to spend the day! I enjoyed: the
floors. The
ceilings. The hall of
muses (the muse of Mime was my favorite--see link). The symmetrical gardens. The frescoes. This mosaic.
I like this one at the same fountain--I happened to catch Monkey just before her mom stopped her from taking the plunge:
Dangerboy even decorated his own vase (maybe some of you can read Greek):
