Peter composed this little poem on the spot as I was dropping him off for work one day long ago. It applies to me now in altogether interesting ways...anyone want to hazard a guess?
I am the pod,
You are the pea;
I'm empty without you,
And you're naked without me.

Do I dare to guess?
sounds rather fecund to me...
...apples...trains?
Oh, you are all so sly (good job, Jana!). But I just want to say, Pete had never even HEARD of "Pea in a Pod" that maternity shop. He was just composing a little love poem, and I thought it was so sweet and clever. But, Brooke, your deleted comment (which got sent to me anyway) was right on target!
Are you going to have another little sweet pea?
It means you've eaten too many peas and you're all gassy. That's all I meant when I wrote it.
I really want to know what the deleted comment said!!
me too! Pete, you are hillarious.
Brooke said, "A fetus and womb?" (And then deleted it). (Hope that's OK to say Brooke).
Yes, it's okay that you put up my guess. I only deleted it because I thought it wasn't fair that I already knew about the bambino and that I happened to be the first to comment.
Congratulations!!! I love peas!
