Goldilocks

So I came home the other day after a job and found that P. had given Dangerboy his first haircut! It was something I have been putting off until the timing was just perfect--I was afraid to do it by myself, and worried that DB would just squirm all over. Also, the two times I have tried to give people haircuts were nearly or entirely disastrous. P. did it perfectly, on his own, and even cleaned up after! I'll miss my baby's curls--he looks so grown up now--but lets face it, most of the time it was just a fuzzy little mess back there.

Things have been busy--it's that crunch time of year. Recitals, performances, stressed-out rehearsals, papers and tests, etc. There are a million things I want to write about but don't have time!!! Alas.

I am sorry to see goldilocks go away but there comes a time when every child must leave the baby behind and move on with life. It's a milestone for Caleb... there are so many more to come. He looks like a little boy now- yet, still a doll!! MOM

I always dread the first cut. They look so different when it's all done and combed. Right now my boys are obsessed with putting gel in thier hair and looking like Dragon Balls' Goku. Caleb is still such a cutie. Did you save the sweet curls?

P. saved one curl for the baby book, but he said most of the hair just mysteriously flew away (suspicious, since it was cut inside)...

Well, at least Jeremy will have less to pull out now. He really does look older. You're lucky that he has (had) curls. I had to cut my boys' hair before six months so that they didn't look like a girl with a mullet.
