DB is learning to count; usually get gets to all of "one." Last night he was counting P.'s fingers and counted, "One, two," GULP! tried to eat P.'s third finger!
Also, every shape is a triangle, and every color is purple at first, though if I ask him again, he'll guess red or green. He's starting to put words in little groups, like, "Mommy please more berries." (I think that's his longest). Usually it's more like "Mommy Jai" (for "Jai's mommy") or "My turn....my truck....my spoon...."...fill in the blank.
Tonight we discovered that boxes of macaroni and cheese make great shakers, so we danced around the kitchen, rattling like a couple of disco snakes (how's that for an image?)
P. has taught DB all about emotions--he'll "laugh," "cry" and "growl" on command, at the words "happy," "sad," and "mad." Sounds pretty fake--that's what makes it funny!
